About the property:

The hotel consists of one central building and eight separate cottages that house the 35 character-filled rooms and suites. The grand central building which contains the reception, lounge and restaurant has uninterrupted views of the Gulmarg Golf course on one side and of Mt Apharwat on the other.The atmosphere is what really makes Highlands Park unique. The rooms are fantastic, the views awesome and the service exceptional.The walls of their Dining hall are adorned with beautiful and unique Object’s d Art, animal skins and heads from days when hunting was allowed and unique artifacts that reflect the local character of Gulmarg.Their cuisine focuses on freshly produced and locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection as per age old Continental and Kashmiri recipes. We also offer Chinese and Mughlai food and use an old fashioned (clay oven) tandoor to give you that authentic flavor.

Their famous lounge has been completely restored to its original charm and remains one of the most lively and beautiful rooms in the valley. With its traditional ‘Khatambandh’ ceilings, paneled walls and sweeping views of Gulmarg and the Apharwat mountains it remains a room one has to experience.
